Community Service

At The Nubian Circle, community service is about showing up with intention. Our giveback events are designed to bring people together around real impact, whether that means creating comforting items for those in need, collecting essential supplies, or building experiences that turn service into something people can feel connected to.

Through each service event, we want people to do more than attend. We want them to contribute, connect, and be part of something meaningful.

Our Giveback Events

The Annual Give Back is our way of showing gratitude to the community, especially during the Thanksgiving season.

It’s a time where we come together not just to give, but to create an experience. From our first Give Back to our second, we’ve focused on making sure people feel supported, appreciated, and seen.

Through partnerships with organizations like Aetna and CVS Health, we’ve been able to provide essentials like gloves, hats, and other resources to those who need it most. At the same time, we make sure there’s food, music, and an energy that feels welcoming.

It’s not just about handing things out. It’s about creating a space where people can enjoy themselves, feel valued, and be part of something positive.

That’s what The Give Back is about - gratitude in action.

Cozy Creations is a more hands-on way we give back.

We bring people together to create blankets for those in need, turning something simple into something meaningful. Every blanket made is done with intention, knowing it will bring warmth and comfort to someone else.

But beyond that, it’s about the feeling in the room. People coming together, working side by side, and contributing to something bigger than themselves.

Santa’s Closet is how we show up during the Christmas season.

We provide gifts for kids so they can experience the holidays in a way that feels joyful and complete. For a lot of families, that kind of support means more than people realize.

Every gift is given with intention. It’s about making sure no child is overlooked and every family feels a sense of care during that time of year.

The Worawora Initiative is how we’ve extended our impact beyond our immediate community.

This effort was focused on supporting students in Worawora, Ghana by providing school supplies and materials for a STEM-based school, with a focus on improving agricultural education.

The goal was simple, make sure students have the tools they need to learn, grow, and apply what they’re learning in ways that can directly impact their community.

Agriculture is a major part of life in Worawora, so being able to support a school that’s teaching students how to innovate and improve in that space meant a lot to us.
